What Is the RNIP?

The program focuses on communities with a population of 50,000 or fewer that are at least 75 km from the core of a Census Metropolitan Area, or communities of up to 200,000 people officially designated as remote from larger urban centres. Participating communities nominate candidates with a genuine job offer who intend to settle locally—creating a practical route to Canadian permanent residency for workers ready to contribute to rural and northern regions.

• Proof-of-funds guidance to demonstrate you can support yourself and your family, including bank statements, real property, investments such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, and fixed deposits, plus other guaranteed payments where applicable
