Canadian Immigration Program

Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) Assistance

The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) is an economy-driven pathway designed to strengthen eligible communities across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, and Yukon. By connecting skilled newcomers with smaller and remote regions, the program supports local settlement and long-term growth. NGS Consultant helps you assess eligibility, secure community recommendations, and prepare a complete, competitive application.

What Is the RNIP?

The program focuses on communities with a population of 50,000 or fewer that are at least 75 km from the core of a Census Metropolitan Area, or communities of up to 200,000 people officially designated as remote from larger urban centres. Participating communities nominate candidates with a genuine job offer who intend to settle locally—creating a practical route to Canadian permanent residency for workers ready to contribute to rural and northern regions.

How We Help

  • Guidance on securing a community recommendation, including support with qualifying job offers from participating employers
  • Professional resume preparation highlighting relevant experience, including the one-year (1,560 hours) paid work requirement within the past three years, subject to applicable exceptions
  • Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) application support and follow-up to verify your qualifications
  • Language test coaching, diagnostic assessments, and training tailored to RNIP requirements—CLB 6 for NOC 0 and A occupations, CLB 5 for NOC B, and CLB 4 for NOC C and D (Canadian Language Benchmark)
  • Proof-of-funds guidance to demonstrate you can support yourself and your family, including bank statements, real property, investments such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, and fixed deposits, plus other guaranteed payments where applicable
